In their series-deciding third and final Twenty20 international match against Australia on Tuesday, India Women reached 147 for six thanks to a quick 34 from Richa Ghosh. Shafali Verma (26) and Smriti Mandhana (29) laid the foundation for a solid first-innings total, but India blew a fantastic start, losing four wickets for six runs and faltering at the midway point. After the powerplay, India was 51 for 1, but after losing wickets one after another for ten overs, they were reduced to 66/4. However, Ghosh's hit gave India new energy, as they went on to score 81 runs in the 2nd half.
